A few things people often ask
Planning a custom order comes with questions. Here are the answers that usually help before you send an inquiry.
01How do I place an order?
Start with our inquiry form. Tell us your date, what you would like, how many people you are serving, and any design ideas you have. We will review the details and follow up with availability and final pricing.
02Does sending an inquiry reserve my date?
Not yet. Your date is reserved once we confirm the order and receive the required payment. Availability can change, so it is best to complete your booking as soon as you are ready.
03How much will my order cost?
You can find starting prices on our menu. Since every order is made for a specific guest count and design, your final price may change based on size, flavors, decoration, delivery, or setup. We will confirm the total before you book.
04What payment is required to book?
Orders under $100 require payment in full. Custom orders over $100 require a 50% non-refundable retainer, with the remaining balance due before the scheduled date.
05How do wedding cake bookings work?
Wedding dates are reserved with a 50% non-refundable retainer. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding. If you book within 30 days of your wedding date, payment is due in full at booking. We will also give you deadlines for final flavors, serving counts, and design details.
06Can you copy a cake from a photo?
Inspiration photos are always welcome. We will use them to understand the style, colors, and details you love, but we do not make exact copies. Your cake will be created especially for your celebration.
07Do you offer pickup and delivery?
Yes. Pickup is available in Honolulu, and the full address and instructions are shared through your private tracking link after your order is confirmed. Delivery and setup may also be available depending on the date, venue, and order. Delivery and setup fees are quoted separately.
08What is your refund or cancellation policy?
Because every order is handcrafted, custom, and perishable, all sales are final. Retainers are non-refundable because your date is held specifically for you. If something is wrong with your order, please contact us promptly so we can review it with you. Rescheduling requests are considered individually and depend on availability.
09How should I transport and store my cake?
Carry the box from the bottom and keep it level in an air-conditioned vehicle. Refrigerate the cake in its box, then take it out about one hour before serving. Our Pickup & Cake Care guide has the full instructions.
10How long do decorated sugar cookies stay fresh?
Heat-sealed sugar cookies stay fresh for up to one week. Keep them at room temperature and away from sunlight, moisture, and heat. They can also be frozen for up to three months and thawed at room temperature for two to three hours.
